what is Super FP mode? is it applicable to normal studio strobe lights? because i heard it could go up to 1/4000 sec Flash X-sync speed.

Hi Charles! It only works with the FL-36 and FL-50 strobes. It does multiple flashes (I beleive 3 continuous flases more or less) to sync with high shutter speed shooting with the Evolt system :D and it works! Too bad I archived my pics using that when I switched to a mac last month. :D

Super FP mode only works with dedicated flash. With studio lights, I can sync up to 1/320 (despite what the manual says) with my E-1.

By the way, does it say in the manual what "FP" exactly means? =b I mean, what's it short for?

Could be Flash Pulse coz as I understand, what happens in Super FP mode is that the strobe does this burst flashes (or pulses) to capture the fast shutter speed with one of them. hehe!
