Just wanted to know your thoughts regarding the ME-1 Magnifier cup, i lost my Eye cup ages ago and i haven't gotten around ordering one yet, hehehe =b are they available locally? or do i have to get them through B&H?

And while you're at it, how do exactly replace your stock Focusing Screen with the FS-2 which has all the grid lines and such which should "supposedly" fine tune your composition?

I just bought the ME-1 magnifier cup, and i have been playing around with my E-500. A quick look into the viewfinder, i don't seem to notice the difference.... So sligt magnification. But i noticed, that the tunnel vision like feel i always encounter when looking through the viewfinfer was minimized.

hi Tok! :D I replaced my E-1's stock focusing screen with an FS-2 in less than 3 minutes. :D

1. remove lens
2. use included tweezer to take off stock FS
3. use included tweezer to place and lock FS-2 in bracket
4. replace lens
5. shoot and put in mind that you still have the E-1 in hand and not a D200 hehe! :D


regarding the ME-1, will you still see 100% of the picture or less? I love the E-1's 100% view sa VF. it'll be sad to loose that advantage over most dslrs.

tok, FS-2 is for the E-1 lang nga :( it's never coming off my E-1.

the new one is nice. solid too. grips a little smaller than the E-1, better than the E-500, much better. Screen is like the E-500 and so are the added features from the 20D. I like it. hehehe! i'll try to do some comparison shots with the E-1 and it soon.

Off topic: I just got my E-1 grip yesterday. Looks good. Feels better too! Na-taga ako sa Customs, paid P1,800 for duty and tax. Paging Dexter, pwede ba magpa-ship dy'an sa Davao? ;)
