Ironic since they also love the #8 and august is the eight month.... They say that August is the month when they say the portal from to the spirit world opens so the sipirits wanders here with us. They say that this is the time of year when there are lots of accidents and deaths. They also say that August is not a good month for travel. And for this year, its leap year and there are 2 July in the CLC. Ghost month/s end around 4th week of September (gregorian). During this time, its bad luck for special occations(wedding/engagement/opening new business/starting construction), exception are birthdays. If you're wishing to get the business of the Fil-Chi community, knowing these customs/traditons will go a long way. In fact, it's 3. Nyahahaha. This year 2006 has beed very good for me but August is really bad. However, I was able to get back with my backlogs. From experience, August is really slow.
