C&C welcome.

1/200 - 1/250, f4.

PP: levels, noise reduction for ISO 1600, a slight s-curve for some contrast and saved for web using http://www.digitalphotographer.com.ph/forum/showthread.php?t=5642&highlight=save+web (Jay's method)

Dog ate your CPL? :D

The reflection of the sky on #2 and #3 are a bit distracting IMHO.

Otherwise, they're nice pics.

Haha, wish I could use a CPL but the gym was horribly lit to begin with. :D

most of the non-commercial indoors were not made for appropriate sports photography lighting unless for special occasions. these ones very good. thanks for sharing again FM.

ISO 1600 works.

Thanks Yuri. Mmmm, The Blue Eagle Gym is poorly lit, the lighting setup is not used 100%... Wish they would turn on all the lights so I could use a faster shutterspeed.

Also, these photos are underexposed by about 1.5 to 2 stops. Thank god for Photoshop's levels and curves!

I was thinking the same thing, judging on how dark the wooden surface is, adding a CPL would cut down the available light even more.

i'm sure the shots would be a whole lot better if only the gym had better lighting.

btw, what are the chances of other people (myself, particularly) dropping by to take shots of our teams' practices? need to practice my action/sports photography.

FM, welcome brad. things wouldn't be the different kung walang shots from poorly places like what you have given to example.

Or just move the practice to Moro Lorenzo..? :)

Shakey's V-league is going to begin on May 17. I think it's going to be held at The Arena in San Juan.

Thanks for the comment Joseph. :)

Allen ;) The V-league is a tournament that lasts for about a month. Admission is not free here so I think they're a bit stricter compared to the PBL when it comes to allowing photogs to shoot the action from the sidelines.
