As the title suggests, where do you guys get your prints framed?

How much did it cost (please indicate print size and total frame size)

:)

hi david, if you frequent Hidalgo, there's always Beth's framing. if im not mistaken Plain colored wooden frame w/ photo tac would cost around 200 to 300 pesos 8X10. (location instead of turning left from hidalgo to go to Henry's turn right and check the shops that offers framing.

you can also check SM department stores for frames. hope this helps

I used to go to Discovery Frames for framing but I think they already closed down. A bit pricey but the workmanship is superb!

Try Gallery Frames... neat job as well.

Speaking of which, Nick/Nino/Pilar, do you do framing?

Woohoo, thanks for the leads folks...

Nino: What's PhotoTac?
Tracy: Thanks...
Where's Gallery Frames, Dindin?

I saw this http://www.americanframe.com/ and they have pre-fab frames with mount and glass, seems like a good deal, I wonder if they ship abroad.

Something like this will suffice http://www.shutterbug.net/images/archivesart/1000framing230i11.jpg

Basic frame, a recessed area for the photo and a wide mat around it.

Nino: What's PhotoTac? Can I answer this..
Photo Tac is like a protection for the photo.. a lamination of some sort for it to be finger print proof, etc..

Ah, the mesh-like surface on top of a photo? doesn't that degrade the image quite a bit? I only find them useful for wallet photos...

I'm not sure what's a "mesh-like" surface.. pero it's not obvious, I mean, it still looks like an ordinary photo. i dont think it degrades the image, except if you r going to print in metallic and put a photo-tac on it, the metallic effect won't be that obvious, but it's still nice :)

I bring all my stuff to Frame Logic in Makati. I still haven't found anyone who can beat their price and quality of work. The fact that rush jobs don't cost extra is also a nice bonus :D
