I'm curious if there are laws protecting the photographers and the licensing of their images.

I was relating to a photographer that it is common in the states for photographers to include in their contracts limited usage rights to clients, and charging accordingly if the circulation of a magazine is larger or that if the ad will be printed out in more publications. And not to mention wedding photographers owning the rights to the images taken at a wedding. Although one still needs a model release if one intends to use it ourselves for self promotion.

Are there guidlines or similar licensing in the Philippines?
