"POETRY IN WATER"
A just for fun photo contest of Pinoy Olympus Users E-group's EB in celebration of its first quarter of uniting Pinoy Olympus users!
Theme Description:
We've been drenched in the past few days and weeks being the rainy season in the Philippines. Let us see how you will capture 'water' with your Olympus cameras. Send us your best shot of water in the rainy season. The wilder your subject or your presentation, the better. Goodluck!
Contest End Period: August 4, 2006
Rules and Conditions:
1. This contest is open to all members of "pinoy-olympus-e-series-users" e-group; entries of non-members of the said e-group will be allowed to participate (see digital Rule #2).
2. Entries must be in color, taken from May 5, 2006 (date of birth of our e-group) until August 4, 2006 using any Olympus digital camera (digital SLR or compacts) to qualify.
3. Participants can submit a maximum of two (2) entries in 8x10 size print from digital lab or ink-jet output accompanied by a high-resolution file or soft copy in both original (Raw accepted) and edited (subject to Rule#4), if applicable.
4. Deadline of submission of entries sent by mail or courier is on August 4, 2006. Although, entries can be hand-carried and submitted during registration at the EB until 630PM only; look for Sir Alex. For interested participants outside Metro Manila and cannot attend, kindly send your entry on or before August 4, 2006 to:

5. Digital manipulation is limited to color correction and tonal adjustment only; composite alterations are not allowed.
6. In case a contestant wins more than once, he or she is entitled to keep both prizes for the decision of the judges is based on the merits of the photograph, not on the chance to distribute prizes to more participants.
7. Non-winning entry prints will have to be claimed back by the participants at the end of the EB event; unclaimed prints and photo CDs will be disposed or used by AGTI as it deem fit.
