DoN SeViLLa 04-25-2007, 04:38 PM tnx marton actually im having a problem using these two diffuser. sometimes i have good results using a bounce card and sometimes not (usually under exposed). same situation using a diffusion dome. i already did some test shots w/ the same subject and same settings come-up w/ the same results (flash in ttl-bl, 0 ev) sort of a hit/miss in given situation. any advice what particular scenario when to use a bounce card/diffusion dome or maybe have some test shots before deciding which one to use. again tnx in advance levi lacandula 04-25-2007, 04:48 PM @ don input based on personal experience. i do get consistent results with the bounce card. its great to use in opening up some shadows for low ceiling venues and lots of walls. i used to encounter some difficulties with it when i shoot on portrait mode.. but with a little experimentation you'll be able to get consistent results (even without a bracket). i do use the diffusion dome on outdoor shoots (direct flash / fill). based from experience - very good combination with matrix metering.:) DoN SeViLLa 04-25-2007, 05:24 PM tnx for the tip levi. i need to practice more and do some experiments. |
