I just found out that my FZ20 (rather the FZ20 which I let my 13 yr old daughter use) had a good thump months back and is now incapacitated. It accidentally slipped and fell but still worked afterwards. A month or 2 after that incident, I happen to use it and found that I'd need to take out the batteries and reinsert again for it to power on and take shots. Just 2 days ago, I wanted to use it and it just doesn't power on despite having freshly rechardged batteries.

Cut it short, anyone know of the Panasonic Service center I could bring it to?
I know of the one in Shaw Boulevard near Wack-wack a few meters away from EDSA-Crossing where I take my appliances. Should I bring it there?
Thanks in advance.

I called them up before and they were glad to order and replace my lost cable and battery charger accessory with my lumix fx-7, as with other service center, you may have to wait a while because they do not stock these items, they will have to order it abroad. price quoted was reasonable. no idea with replacement parts though. i think this is first and last resort for panasonic consumers.

question: does panasonic service center accept/honor leica warranty? if not, does anyone of the good people here know if there is a leica service center here in manila? TIA
