Niko Villegas 07-21-2006, 09:06 AM no leakage has been found yet even dpreview has nothing hehehe D90? but the question is will it be worth it to let go of our 70/s's and what will be the reaction of current D200 owners? hmmmmmm . . . 20 days and the darkside will have it's "deathstar" out . . . John P. Reyes 07-21-2006, 10:47 AM D200 user here. In 19 days, my rig will be 'old and obslete' so to speak. I bought it 5 months ago. Such is the digital life. :( rosalie_gomez 07-21-2006, 04:25 PM D200 user here. In 19 days, my rig will be 'old and obslete' so to speak. I bought it 5 months ago. Such is the digital life. :( No reason to be sad... The D200 is a great camera!!! And by the looks of it, this will be a "lower" model to the D200. John P. Reyes 07-21-2006, 07:50 PM No reason to be sad... The D200 is a great camera!!! And by the looks of it, this will be a "lower" model to the D200. I'm not sad that there's a new model out. I'm sad NAS will kick in and I wont have enough money.:) levi lacandula 07-22-2006, 01:53 AM D200 user here. In 19 days, my rig will be 'old and obslete' so to speak. I bought it 5 months ago. Such is the digital life. :( man, brace yourself... it would never stop! lets just shoot and capture great photos!:) Niko Villegas 07-22-2006, 06:49 AM i agree, it doesn't matter what camera you have even a camera phone can take great photos . . . nasa mata pa rin yan so to speak and in this digital age, we really have to learn to be content and SAVE UP hahaha . . . my 2 cents Lyndon_L_Ong 07-22-2006, 12:10 PM I guess that Nikon is releasing this model in anticipation or direct competition with Sony's Alpha @ system.... Marton_Benitez 07-22-2006, 12:14 PM D200 user here. In 19 days, my rig will be 'old and obslete' so to speak. I bought it 5 months ago. Such is the digital life. :( Don't worry, cameras are really a wear item. What really matters is your EYE (as what Niko has said) :) Sonny Thakur 07-22-2006, 12:16 PM just got my D70s last week :( Niko Villegas 07-22-2006, 03:32 PM got mine last month, im telling you that it's easier for us 70/s people than D200 people (no offense meant) because we are 4MP away compared to them who are the same in MP's but then again i don't think Nikon would release something that would make the D200 people loose their faith in the darkside due to this new camera so i guess we have to wait and see but like what i said it is all in the EYE ;) mario_bes 07-22-2006, 05:57 PM Hi guys im not a nikonian, but my brother complains of focus problem on his 2 yr old d70..his focus indicator says its focused but when you see the pics its kinda blurred even in tripod pics..Was told by local nikon (columbia photo i think) that it needs to be "calibrated" but since he bought it in Singapore, he has to bring it there because of the warranty.. Anyone has this problem too? John P. Reyes 07-22-2006, 09:38 PM i agree, it doesn't matter what camera you have even a camera phone can take great photos . . . nasa mata pa rin yan so to speak and in this digital age, we really have to learn to be content and SAVE UP hahaha . . . my 2 cents I agree that its in the eye. But its also the eye that tells the brain.....NAS!NAS!NAS!:D :D :D Niko Villegas 07-23-2006, 04:32 PM nice thought hehehe http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/obsolescence.htm check the link out maybe it will help some of us feel better hehehe joe_galian 07-30-2006, 10:56 AM When my D70 came out it was better than the old top-of-the-line Nikon D1x...ccd-wise. For any newer Nikon DSLR camera of the same CCD lot, the newer ccd hardware is, at least, the same or a tad better. And look at the D50, when it came out after the D70: it has better NR than the D70 at high ISOs. But let's hope the D80 is officially 10MP. rosalie_gomez 07-31-2006, 08:50 AM But let's hope the D80 is officially 10MP. The new cam is definitely a 10.2mp but what I'm hoping for is that it will use CF and not SD cards. levi lacandula 07-31-2006, 11:26 AM The new cam is definitely a 10.2mp but what I'm hoping for is that it will use CF and not SD cards. i totally agree. plus if supports an official vertical grip  Vince_Villamin 08-04-2006, 02:30 PM Wouldn't it be a big surprise if it suddenly came out with a Fuji Superr CCD instead of a Sony one (like the D200). I just really like the IQ of the S3 pro plus the speed and reliability of the Nikons. rosalie_gomez 08-04-2006, 02:44 PM Wouldn't it be a big surprise if it suddenly came out with a Fuji Superr CCD instead of a Sony one (like the D200).
