I would like to learn more about Wedding album layouts. Can anyone share on the topic? Would like to see/know best album layouts or some articles about the topic.
Also, what software is available in the local market for the job (aside from Photoshop).
Would appreciate your kind expertise.

Fully Booked sometimes has in stock a DVD and book by Scott Kelby on wedding album layouts.
Aperture Trading sells drag and drop software for album layout purposes.

if this'll be for business, you're better off w/ a software program. yes, Aperture Trading sells the DG Foto Art (though i don't see it any longer in their redesigned website). it'll set you back around 30k, but it's worth the purchase. wanna learn more? go here:

Fan's also sells a drag 'n drop software: CPAC Gallery PRO. i asked them about it during the Photoworld and will cost you 25k. go here if you're interested:

hope this is helpful.

DG Foto art is still one of the best. That is coming from several wedding photographers I know. You can easily finish an album in less than half a day.
Speaking of wedding album layout, it is essential to have a background in graphic design. You got to understand the basics like grid, white space, typography, etc.
Buy some basic graphic design books and it should be enough to guide you.

You can download YSI from that site and pay online via Mastercard or Visa. I did that and I'm a happy user of YSI. What I like about YSI is that it saves in PSD so I can still do a little customization in photoshop.

sir dino, if i were to buy my 1st digital album layout program, which would you recommend then? is it ok if you point out the pros and cons of the software you currently have in your arsenal here? in a few months' time kasi i'll be buying one na. i like one that is fast and convenient and easy enough for a beginner, but also has advanced features that would never make it stale and, well, boring (i also use photoshop). thanks in advance.
