Hello guys...the ffg is my own local version of the DIY bounce card as shown in the 'you tube'' video and discuss in the previos forum. I like to share it to my fellow DPP members and all fotogs out there.

Materials:
1. 1/4 inch thick one sided insulation foam from ACE hardware ( 1 meter X 1 meter is P 50..this the minimum size U can buy)
2. 2 large Velcro straps from National Bookstore ( color black... P 34)
3. Ruler, cutter, pencil and a big clip

TOTAL COST = less than P 100

NOTE: this is an adapted version of the DIY bounce card. The only difference is the materials. I used a 1/4 in insulation foam w/c has 2 sides...white foam opaque side and the silver aluminum side. Pls do refer back to the previous thread on discussion about this and the "you tube" video on this.

The materials and the cut shape of the card

The finished product...white foam opaque side for softer lite bounce

If U want a stronger bounce U can use the silver aluminum side

Diego, did you find any color cast with this setup? particularly when using the white side of the card (3rd pic). This is a good DIY. TFS

Hi Jun...Thanks for appreciaitng it. At the moment I did not find any color cast when using the white side...but I admit I have to do an extensive pre-testing of this bounce card. Tomorrow I have a chance of using this at the World Trade Center Auto-Car show . I hope fellow DPP members will also try this so we can share all our datas and experiences. Good luck to you:)

For the life of me, I cannot find that type of insulation anywhere locally. I need it for another project, not photography related, but now that you showed us this ingenius use for it, I can add it to my list as well. As I said, INGENIUS!!! I guess I will have to remember to pick up some of this insulation the next time I am in the Philippines. Galing mo!
