The Pentax K10d, is fully weather sealed and mated to the new weather sealed DA* zoom lens line can withstand any of mother nature's extreme conditions. Be it rain, sleet, snow, dust, sand, typhoon, hurricane the K10d is safe.
however, for those who really want to push their photography to the limit, try SPL custom water housings, for extreme water photography:

Hi Mark! Just joined this forum today. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you're active here also. Sayang, we were not able to meet on your last trip. Anyway, I finally got to hold a K10D! Sanly's SM North has two units on stock. All I can say is WoW! Txt me next time you're i town.

i didnt get a chance to meet up with you on my last trip, but you know me... I'll be back before you know it. how is the k10 selling there in manila. I went to photoworld and the pentax booth looked great!
