martin_cp_valeriano 03-25-2007, 05:35 PM Hello Pilar... i'm very interested. mind informing me pls of the seminar fee and what it includes? i hope you don't mind me inquiring here as i'm from out of manila
Pilar Tuason 03-25-2007, 07:04 PM Hi Martin,
Thank you for asking.
Wedding photographers have to be well rounded in practically all aspects in photography. For one's work to stand out, I personally believe that one should be good with products, people, lighting, timing, style, personality and business know how. All these will be discussed. The seminar will also have a live shoot where in we will have a bride and groom. Lito will share his techniques on how to pose them and how to "coach" them. There will also be hand outs on information about wedding photography and practical tips and advices will also be given. Lito will go through the flow on how to photograph the event as it unfolds and tips on how to create stunning images by finding opportunities and working around them. This seminar will not only benefit wedding photographers but portrait photographers as well.
The fee for 24hours of seminar is 12,000. From 9-6pm
Inclusive of coffe, drinks and snacks.
There will be a 1hour break for lunch. We are walking distance to Greenbelt.
Pilar Tuason 03-26-2007, 08:42 PM Hi Everyone,
Just a clarification:
I have been getting a lot of pm's (which I dont mind at all) but would just like to clarify the part that says you should be an advanced photographer. By that we mean you must be comfortable with shutter speed, aperture, depth of field, flash settings, and the likes. We dont expect you to be advanced in the field of wedding photography but rather be comfortable with your camera and have more than just basic skills with the camera. In other words, if you have completed an advanced course or are at par with photographers who have completed an advanced course, than you will fully benefit from the lessons. You can take advanced course with Jo Avila if you feel that it may benefit you prior to attending Lito Sy's class.
Thank you. Please feel free to pm me or post more questions here.
jerrytieng 03-26-2007, 09:00 PM Arrgggghhhh! I have a safari on the 26th!! :(
litosy 04-03-2007, 03:13 PM Looking forward to see you guys in my workshop!
Alfred Racho 04-03-2007, 04:26 PM I have no plans of being a wedding photographer, but I just love seminars... But I must admit that I am not yet an "advanced" photographer (I will probably attend some seminars that are more basic, such as those by FPPF and the Jo Avila basic course first).
However, it would be great if future seminars by Lito Sy are posted here as well. When I graduate to a more advanced level, I surely would love to attend a workshop of a pro like Lito.
Cheers!
