What I usually do, I quit PS and run it again... But there are cases that it will not work.

The cross hair mark should denote a precision mode with the brush, but in PS, it is relatively opposite since one can hardly tell the edges of the brush in this mode. :) What it clearly denotes or is precise about, is where the center of your brush tip is. :) HTH

@earl: hindi pala ako nag iisa.. So the cap lock is applicable if you are using a tablet

Thanks guys. I've had the same cursor problems too and haven't really figured it out until today.
