Here it is our Issue #10. We pay a tribute to ABSTRACT photography in this issue by providing you an exclusive article written with advice and comments from the LARGE 8 featuring the work of Bencab, Escaler, Castillo, Bautista, Tysmans, Guingona, Davocol, and Zobel. This Issue also has an expanded Reader's Gallery section featuring the ABSTRACT work of our loyal readers. It must have been a hot topic because we received plenty of entries for this category.

Issue #10 also features a primer of Lighting, tutorials on the new software Adobe Lightroom, and an expanded Buyers' Guide that now includes mobile camphones. There's more exciting stuff inside the Issue but you should go out to the newsstands and pick yourself up a copy. :)

Whenever we release a new issue, we get questions from new readers where to find our magazine. We have added more new retail stores that sell DPP and I will be creating a master list that will be posted here soon.

We estimate an In-Store date of March 27 for this Issue.

Just to update everyone who monitors this thread, the magazines will be delivered to Bella Luce later this evening, Monday, March 26.

Dispatch to LBC on Tuesday morning. Majority of subscribers should receive their mags by Wednesday.

Most newsstands should also be complete by Wednesday-Thursday.

Hope you enjoy the mag.

Priority stores are Magnet, MIO, MX (in Megamall as David said), Bufini, Fully Booked, and the Makati National Bookstores (Glorietta and Greenbelt). Powerbooks carries the magazine but dont get a large allocation because they like to keep magazines in the back and not up front like all the other stores.

David-- have tried that "territory" before with sad results. Not to sound snooty but that isn't quite the right demographic for DPP. We've tried it and it didn't work. Now we totally focus on the stores who have the right clientele and can really churn the volume.

what happened to issue #8? cant find it anywhere. they just told me that the magazines were not delivered yet. when it finally arrived, it was already issue #9.

Issue 8? We are already on Issue 10. And what NBS are you referring to? We pulled out all of the remaining Issue 08 from NBS. There are only around 24 pcs left of this issue at our office.

Ron, I used to buy it at National Bookstore in Festival mall or ATC. However I subscribed last February and now I get it earlier than when they release it at the bookstores. :)

at least i grabbed my copy here in cebu... its really rare tho :D

Hi TJ. Just came from Singapore. Instead of the Lumiquest, I bought the new Canon Speedlite 580 EX II (plus a Sto-Fen diffuser) but I think it's cheaper at Lucky Plaza. Is Cathay Photo a good store in Singapore?
