Pilar,

Shot with Kodak HIE film? I don't think you can mimic that look with digital. The grain looks very real not iike it was added after in Photoshop.

Derick,

Great panos!

Gamle Stavanger, NORWAY in black & white

Gamle Stavanger "Old Stavanger" is an area of the city of Stavanger in the county of Rogaland, Norway, and is believed to be Europe’s largest collection of wooden buildings. The area includes the Norwegian Canning museum which displays a typical factory from the 1920's.

and another one:)

DOMKIRKEN, Stavanger

Legend has it that Bishop Reinald of Winchester ordered the construction of Stavanger Domkirke (Stavanger Cathedral) in 1125, so that the king could marry his third wife there after his divorce from Queen Malmfrid. The church was built in Anglo-Norman style, probably with the aid of English craftsmen. Patron saint St. Svithun's arm is believed to be among the original relics. Largely destroyed by fire in 1272, the church was rebuilt to include a Gothic chancel. The result: its once elegant lines are now festooned with macabre death symbols and airborne putti.
