i've been following the these new sigma lenses but no news of the release date yet, any idea?? the only sigma lens i have so far is 55-200mm f4-5.6 which i'm sure most of the oly users here owns already

JT Photoworld does provide support for their Sigma lenses. But as of what I've heard from people who ask, they don't have any 4/3 lenses in stock as of recently.

what is 4/3 i don't understand? what does it do? olympus claims for for compatibility with other manufacturers but what does it have to be compatible with? i know apcs has small image circle? and i also know about full frames.

I think Pentax is now adapting the 4/3 system ...

I wish nikon and canon would adapt too.

yes they do. they don't have any 4/3 lenses on stock though. they need to be special-ordered. they just ask for a 20% deposit and your order arrives in 30 days.
