Nick Tuason 07-12-2006, 08:03 AM Joel,
We take a different route and charge quite expensive for this but find parents willling to pay. The album we use is Renaissance USA and sell a package with the album for around P 15-20K.
Other: What is your last name? We need to add it to your username.
joel_herrera 07-12-2006, 11:07 PM PM you Sir regarding the surname

Hi Joel,
You can try Fans Digital. They do have some nice "digital albums" there. Reasonably priced too.

Eric Dino 07-14-2006, 12:42 AM Hi Joel,
Fans Digital is a good supplier of albums and prints. I don't recommend you buying those cheap albums on the malls because it will only destroy your image as a photographer in the future just in case you decide to become pro. It's a trade secret but I'll share to you some of my suppliers. You can also get reasonable albums from JT Photoworld. It's good to cater to the high-end market but we have to remember that 90% of our countrymen belongs to the other side of the coin. So, we should all have entry-level, mid-level and high-end options to our clients. I can send you contact details of JT Photoworld next time or you can also have your albums prepared by DPI Photography Center, they also print your photos and mount the images at reasonable prices just like Fans Digital Imaging. They have both imported leather digital albums from the U.S.A and locally made albums. Until then. Hope you turn pro soon. Best Regards.
Gabriel Ang 07-14-2006, 05:27 AM There's a thread here started by Louie Aguinaldo about having a standard rate card as a reference for photographers. I agree to what Eric Dino has to say here. I don't believe you should give yourself a cheap image by going to the Mall and buying a low end album for your clients. Eventhough you may feel that you have to price yourself low at the moment to get some business, eventually you will want to start charging more and uplift your status. Its tough to do if you're reputation is a cheap phootgrapher. Just my two centavos worth.:)
nino_carandang 07-14-2006, 08:23 AM once you've established yourself as a cheap charging photographer, you're stuck with that. never get those albums from the mall. have them custom made as eric and gabriel mentioned.

basic business math, good luck!
