anybody can suggest a store with a better price. the price i quoted is for a card purchase. current exchange rate is at 7.7pesos per 1 HK dollar.

Locally that lens can be had with local warranty for 54k brand new.

There's only 4 worth talking to in Hidalgo and and they pretty much keep the prices in line with each other.

The Canon EFS 17-55 F2.8 (not 18-55) is what you are referring to right?

i hope i'm not mistaken. it's the new lens (discussed in several threads here) 18-55/2.8, non-L (because of build quality), i think with IS too.

you're right, wilson has it for 54. it should be less than that here.
