Ditto. The girl looks uncomfortable in that position because she has to stretch to put her hand over the dog.

Chris beat me to it. I was going to say that the arm is a bit too stretched. Also, I would eliminate the object (not sure what it is) between the dog and the girl as it doesn't add anything to the image. It would be a cleaner image without it, I think.

I like it conceptually, though.

Nick: thank you.. I almost forgot that there is an object between the girl and the dog. Its a paper bag, I guess?

i also agree.. the girl's hand is too stretch.. and the dog seems quite scared? i think.. did you try to place the girl nearer the dog? or hugging the dog :) more please :)

at the risk of being redundant, it would have been better if the dog was much closer...you'd also take care of that distracting piece in between them

hi alvin, i like the saturation and sharpness of the photo. however, i agree with others say with regards to the posture of the model plus the distraction of the bag between them. a little closer between the subjects is preferrable. tfs.

There is something about this photo that speaks to me...

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... I might agree with what the others say about the lady's arm, uncomfortable as it may seem, but it works for me... It gives me the sense that she's reaching out for the dog who maintains it's distance but still within close reach... The stuff in the middle also added a sense of space between the two. Over all, the saturation, the sharpness etc. etc. adding up to a well balanced image in my book. :)

My only suggestion is that the image would be more natural if there was a bit of detail in the washed out background, to add more dimensionality to it... 'My 2Yen. :)

Thanks for your comments guys, this photo that i took last weekend was a candid shot from the east coast park here in singapore.. And the girl in the photo was angry when she knew that i took her a photo together with her dog.. :-) so thats the story behind of this photo.. :-)

That didn't sound very nice Alvin, good thing you weren't sued or reported to the authorities. If it's alright to ask, how did you resolve the situation?

Alvin, if this is the case then... You should not post their image (period)... And also remove the previous image as well... If consent wasn't given, and a negative reaction was conveyed... Then technicalities arise...

then.. after that, pinasilip ko sa kanya yung preview ng shot ko sa cam ko.. medyo nguti naman sya.. then ... nag sorry ako kung na istorbo ko sya.. then.. nguti lang.. then umalis na ako.. then nagbye-bye na rin.. :-)
