Got mine with 14-42 X-series lens and a Electronic viewfinder (100 %)

HK$ 6,980.xx for the kit
HK$ 2,200.xx EVF

Off to Bangkok with my X-Girl Friend. X-hilarating adventure. :D

Thanks ... All images no PP only converted to jpeg. The second image was crop for composition.

I got kit the with 14-42 X series Power Zoom with Namo surface coating mounted with H & Y SPRO1 37mm MC UV slim filter ( Japan).

Micro four thirds rocks ! Hope to see F4 or F2.8 telephoto lens in the future ! :)

Doc that's a great price with the X series zoom!
The Lumix X 12-35 2.8 and 35-100 2.8 will supposedly be released 1st quarter next year

Awesome pictures, sir! Was sorely tempted to buy this when I saw it locally - I saw the dual lens kit (14mm and 14-42mm, not the X lens) selling for P37K. Oh well.... :)

Yes the X series lens has an IS. It's a mirror less camera. No mirror box no = no mirror slap :)

Blue Blooded I mean " Royal Blood " :)

Called up Pixel Pro out of curiosity. Asked them if they have this on stock. Staff said they don't have. Current price is around 43k for the package.

I really love this camera, it has been compared with Olympus Pen EP3 in many forums
critiques say that raw output is excellent but is quite soft in jPeg
and what about the yellow color cast when the camera is used indoors?
any comment based on personal experience?

What I observed is the AWB is bit warm ( Yellowish ). That's why usually use custom WB ... Hope it does help.

The GX1 is not intended for beginners so many controls you need to get used to it before you can take the photos that you want

Yes Dr. Glemn its the " Blackberry" of MFTs, hard to master at first but once you get used to it, its easy provided that the user knows an in depth knowledge of Photography
