Have anyone tried multiple shots in 1 frame ?
I have a client who wanted a moving effect of a door,
it can be done in photoshop but knowing my belief -
if you can do it in the camera - do it!
No short cuts.

In B setting i exposed 4 times in 1 frame
with my assistant doing the adjustments for the door.
With one exposure/f-stop and compensation of each light
we produce this effect.

I hope this will help some of you guys who wants to experiment
with your lights and camera. It can be done.
You can try it with talents, toys... or anything...
Try it!:)

Ma'am, what camera did you use? I didn't know digital allowed this. :)

This shot was used for a client and they needed a big file wherein i used a Hassy with a digiback. I tried the same effect with the fuji s2 before and it was okay. Haven't tried with other dslr. Maybe someone out there can try and let's see if noise will be a problem.

or you can use the strobe function of your flash (580ex)

Nice, Ms. Gnie!

I've tried this before using Strobe function of my SB-800. Mine was a hammer hitting a nail. I will try loook for it and post it here.

Can we have this thread as a share thread?

For Jim and others who wants to know how we can do this kind of shot,
Imagine this:
Step1. Total Darkness
2. Set your camera to B setting
3. Press the cable release
4. Pop up the lights for your first exposure
5. Set your next movement for the subject
6. Pop up the lights for your second exposure
7. Repeat Step 5 and so forth till you reach your desired image.
8. Release cable release
Happy Shooting!
