Switching to a non-cam phone soon... since I always bring my IXUS with me naman... :)

agree with JP.. call and text.. but if there's wifi.. then it's a plus! :D

But sige, just to answer the thread, I'm currently using an 3230 for my main line and a N6600 for my extra "pantelebabad" line.. Haven't been using the camera much though.. except for one time during the Hot Air Fest when I sent an MMS of that cool balloon with sunglasses. :)

I always have my old but reliable K750i with me. Fantastic phone with 2mb pixels, can be use as an MP3 player, it has video games and can take good video too.

May I join? I'm using O2 Xphone II with vga cam, not using the cam too much, I'm using it mainly for call, text, mp3s, photo browser (230K colored screen) and alarm clock.

Some might ask what's that Xphone II is... it is a MS Windows powered mobile, it's with the O2 XDA family but it's not a PDA phone, mini-PDA siguro. just a few user and that's what I like, you can't even find one in Malls. hehehe! Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman phone,, though i like to replace it with the SE k800,, i use it mainly to call, text, alarm clock, it's notepad feature and of course mp3 player. it also stores some of my PPd pics from my laptop ( usually my laptop has no internet connection ). i only use the cam whenever we caught a shoplifter in my work ( grocery ) :)

I still use my ancient cellphone from 4 years ago... nokia 3100 i think. no use buying the latest model for me since i just need the text/call function. I usually put the thing in my back pocket. newer models would not survive the torture my current phone goes through. dropped my phone a hundred times or so but it still works like a charm. although i'm currently flirting with the idea of a 3g phone for mobile browsing using my laptop. P10 for 30 minutes, good enough i think.

I only use a nokia 6101 also for text, call and alarm clock. I use to have a passion in upgrading phones before but after loosing most of them I decided to downgrade and stick to this simple gadget. My wife actually wants to buy me a new phone I told her Id rather buy a dslr instead, haha:D

i was in search of a small and handy celphone, with a great camera, not too expensive, easy to use but powerful..

i first tried the Motorola SLVR just P7500 at phone stalls, vga cam took good pics so so..slim and handy, loved the stainless steel body..great sound! problem?..being a nokia user it wasnt user friendly for me and can't send mms with it..

after two months i traded it for a nokia 6233, (my alternate was a 6288 but it was too bulky) it had the features that i needed plus 2mp cam, great stereo sound..priced at p12t at phone stalls..great as a p&s..:)

I just downgraded from a Nokia 6230 to an LG KG220 in my attempt to simplify my life. The 6230 takes so-so photos. Albeit taking worse pictures, the "basic" LG, would you believe, ironically has AWB, burst mode (9 pics), and 5x optical zoom!

I'm currently using SE s700i, on of the first 1+ megapixel phonecams. The irony is I dont use the camera part of the phone that much at all.

What I'd love is a 3G kumpleto phone thats built to last.... built like the dustproof water resistant and supposedly shock proof nokia 5500(tama ba?). Small enough to be comfortably pocketable and it doesnt even have to have a camera. mas important ang 3G bluetooth and wifi before the camera because my camera wont give me 3G bluetooth and wifi :D.

the motorola has a nice set of styles and +2 and -2 stops on exposure, though still figuring out how to work the flash (or is it it just a light?), and a little rough on night shots.

mmmmmmmmmmmmm... Bag phones... nahhhhhhhh... or do they still do?!?!:Shock: Hehehehehehehehehe... Anyway, saw some of those Landline/cellular/cordless phones being cradled around here... Forgot the provider/network... It's kinda awkward to see those things being used in public... imagine bringing your cordless-landline and using it inside a mall~Oh it's not totally cordless since the reciever is still attached to the body via coil cord, like a normal handset. :Grin:

im using a k700i as my main phone here, 3 years old still goin strong (but the joystick is beginning to deteriorate) and a z600 flip phone.

to the p990i owners....how is it? im planning to buy one if budget permits. if not..ill settle for a k800i...

The p990i is a good all around fone...also takes decent pictures...however, there's a big difference in image quality if you're comparing it to the k800i...:Grin:

I got a Cingular 8125 with a 1GB mini SD card.

Has wifi, WM5, camera and video (which i never used), pocket office (word, excel, powerpoint), BT, EDGE, slide out keyboard, mp3/video player, USB connection, Internet Explorer/Opera browser, etc.

Dropped my IPAQ again, waist level on a very roughly asphalted road... Resulted to some minor cracks and scratches... tsk tsk tsk... Anyway, this thing surely can take alot of punishment... :)

Dropped my phone about 4-5 times already on concrete pavement and mud. Cleaned it with Joy on a running water. Soaked in a mug of beer. Lots of scratches and dings already but still working fine for almost 2 years now. If only theres a DSLR that's built like my phone.

i just got my new nokia n80i...
im quite blown away by the quality of its 3mp cam, when i compare it to my previous nokias (6630, 6310), i have always been a nokia user, and they have, by far proven their durability. :D
and, cam phones are less likely to attract attention as opposed to our dslrs :D plus. great for street, wag lang sana takaw tingin sa mang ho holdap hehe :D

... The only thing that throws me off with small phones is that it's a pain to SMS... I have big fingers and huge thumbs... One word is hell I tell you... :D

Hi everyone. This is my first post here in DPP. I got a K800i 3 weeks ago and I'm very, very impressed with the camera. I have absoultely no regrets switching from Nokia.

I use an N93i and I love the picture quality... you DO need steady hands in order to get decent pics tho.

I'm experiencing some defects with my K800i. By pressing the keys K and M, the phone reboots and I'm not able to access my contacts from jkl and mno. But I love this phone, nice picture quality.:)

Im using a motorola phone that doesnt have bluetooth nor built in camera... hahaha.. I really dont go so techie when it comes to mobile phone.. as long as it can send text and can make phone calls.. I even forgot what is it called LOL.. I went to the store and just grab one that looks reliable without even reading the specs then off I go..

Unfortunately, the iphone is not a 3G:(
There are just too many to LOVE on this phone. But with out the carrier/provider/service as Mr. Nick Espino said, it's just another paper weight and I have to agree.

Likes:

- it looks and feels beautiful
- the interface is slick and intuitive.
- the iPod features are super cool.
- the auto correct when you are typing is smart and after just a few days i was really typing fast.
- the camera is actually decent
- your professional photos that you have look awesome in the iphone.
- the calenders and contacts sync flawlessly - the maps feature is absolutely fantastic
- i have been inpressed by the speed of the network and the battery life

Sold my SE k610i and downgraded to a Nokia 3110 Classic. Easier to text with, more solid feel, 1.3MP cam, radio, and since it's cheap, I got a 1GB micro SD for Mp3s and storage.
