Edwin Falconi 04-23-2012, 09:51 PM So. Any body X100 users here have experienced the "sticky blade" problem? Russell Olaguer 04-24-2012, 08:14 AM I was using my X100 since November last year. No SAB issues so far. Although I send my camera to Olympus to clean the vewfinder because there were visible dust which annoys me. :D It doesnt affect image quality but I think it's better to have it clean before your warranty expires. Olympus didn't charge me for cleaning the viewfinder because it's still under warranty (will expire next month). Hehehe! Approximately, how many actuation does your X100 have by now? Also, why send it to Olympus for cleaning instead of YKL? Is there reciprocity between the two already? Best, Edwin bobet_aguila 04-24-2012, 06:48 PM I've experienced the sticky aperture blades / sudden hang-up few months ago. There's nothing I can do but remove the battery and go through like cold starting up the unit. But one thing that keeps me wondering now is I'm no longer experiencing the technical glitch anymore, still no firmware update nor visit to the service technician. Electronics givin' me a head scratch :D |
