I read that some wedding photographers use CLS in their wedding coverages. Are there significant differences in the outcomes(photos) using CLS compared to those shots obtained with the use of bounce only?

One still needs to know what he wants to use CLS properly. CLS can still utilize bounce flash. There will definitely be a difference between using 1 flash and multiple flashes, but doesn't mean one is better than the other, they are just different. Ken Rodel Ramos 02-22-2007, 10:01 PM Thanks. I found a book today in one bookstore about Nikon CLS. It costs around 1 thousand pesos. This book is a must for Nikon camera users, according to a testimonial by Shutterbug magazine. Unfortunately, I dont have an extra for the book. Maybe next time (if the book is still there). Marco_Ingco 02-23-2007, 01:00 AM Thanks. I found a book today in one bookstore about Nikon CLS. There is the second edition available soon and in Pre-Order basis. The user's reviews and feedbacks given to the first edition was not good. The first edition has 160 pages while the second edition has 320 pages. I will wait for the second (revised) edition na lang to be available at Amazon.com October 1, 2007. doodstanabe 03-07-2007, 05:59 PM Hi I've found using a second light has improved the look of my photos. Either CLS or Pocket Wizards that add that second light will do. Hair lights on everyone or to light up the background looks great. Just my thoughts. Thanks |
