hi there, Im plannin on gettin an ixus soon... and Im a little confused as to what model is best. Only requirement is that it should be not less than 5mp and not more than 10mp.

what model would you guys recommend?

Recently bought an Ixus 850 IS for my brother. The main features that attracted me to this particular camera was the Image Stabilization (IS) function which should allow you to take pics in low light conditions without a flash (most people switch the flash off because it gives better lighting effect in the pic but many don't realize that the picture will come out blurred without IS to keep the camera steady) and the fact that it's focal range starts at 28mm which is wide angle already.

I don't think it got the greatest review in dpreview but it wasn't a negative review either.
