I've never browzed a DP UK magazine but I've seen it around then being sold at bookstores even before I got my first ever DPP magazine and got hooked to it. I've never gotten the DP UK simply because it is way to expensive plus of course I appreciate every issue of DPP. Somewhere in the threads of this section however, it was mentioned that the CD accompanying the DP UK was superb...

Is there any possibility in the future that DPP will have a CD too?

Thank you & more power to DPP.

Superb indeed! :) Got one of of UK's issue. they include a CD in the package occasionally - that time, it was their 50th Anniversary. (December2006).

I happen to have the March '07 issue of the mag and it happens to have a cd.
Everything on the cd was tackled in the magazine, well not all. You can't download things from the mag =)
For this CD, they have Canon Paper size Action (resize images for Canon paper stocks) and Picture frames for download.
The tutorial is fine. I learned a thing or two, but tutorials are widely available in the web. There are lots of tutorials out there.

IMHO, if DPP will be bringing in CD's on their issues, there'll be a dramatic change on their prices and if it's only for tutorials and such, I'll be better off online.

.... Maybe they can do it once in a while. For special occasions, as they say :)
but then again, for subscribers, that will pose an issue (due to the fixed payment)

The real issue with regards to the CD being bundled was that it was easily stolen from the magazine hence we didn't bundle it with the local mag. On the other hand, we have something brewing that you guys will love regarding the downloadables. Stay tuned.

Thank you guys. Agree that it's probably good to have the CD on special occasions. I'll be looking forward to that "something brewing" with downloadables.:)

Late member, late post.

The DPUK CD includes sample pics and video tutorials for the monthly workshops in the mag.

I miss those since I stopped subscription. Hole in my wallet. Ouch! :)
