Planking is not a new thing. It has it roots in other more previous incarnations. From the lying down game, face down tuesdays, and even the childhood game of sleeping lions – planking is just the newest twist of a peculiar sport indeed. There will be those that continue, raising the act into an art-form of odd self expression in a scene that barely cares to notice.
