i dunno about you but kung ako no deal... although it's the Pro cam of it's day, the technology is already kinda old for todays standards. Get a 400D instead if you want Canon, a D80 if you want Nikon.

No Deal. For that price get a 30D instead! Newer technology, cleaner 8mp images, and you get full warranty.

The 1D is only good for its high FPS burst mode if you do outdoor sports. The heavy built and huge body is perfect for huge 2.8 zooms or telephotos, it's a disadvantage for hobbyists who prefer lighter lenses and smaller bodies. Its high ISO images for natural light indoor shots are not clean, the cheapest Canon 400D will even give you better images.

The downside to DSLR technology is that bodies depreciate easily. New better models are getting cheaper.

No Deal dude. Get a 400D instead or 30D(body) or if you want a Nikon, get a D80. Here's a link for reference.

Kung payag sha 40k or 24month installment ok narin cguro.

But make sure it has a complete software and the included accessories with it.

Ano ba ang LENS na kasama, Meron ba kasama lens yun?

Ano ba ang lens na meron ka?

If you shoot mostly events, the fast focus and fast FPS will be a great advantage. 4mp is still adequate for even large albums like 11R. Though if you are more on studio, fashion or as a camera for a hobby, you are better of getting another model in that price range.

Try negotiating a lower price at installment, it's a very good camera. You will be surprised with what a 4.5MP @ 8fps, 1/500 flash-sync, 1/16000 top shutter and 1.3X crop can do. If I had the extra money I'll buy it over any of the current consumer Canon dSLRs (i.e. 300D/350D/400D).

If I were you, I will take that camera, that is a pro camera on those days. However, much better if he can lower the price. You mentioned it's a complete set, do you mean a lens will also be included?
