I'm not a pro but here are some ways you can start selling photos
1. creating your own portfolio and post low res images(not too low) on a website or use pbase or flickr
2. join stock photography websites
3. ask galleries if you can showcase your pictures in an exhibit
hope this helps, thanks

its ok to start young... I am 17 right now... I am also asking myself aside from having fun in having photos taken and having them stored in my PC and across the web... what other things can I do with those photos? I am also thinking about that idea to sell out some of my good shots...

I'd like to learn how to start selling fine art prints (landscapes, still life, nude figure)

There are a lot of ways to sell your photographs but hold on to your horses. You should be asking yourself if you are already competent to sell. Well if you are then making your own site can be a good start.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I'm 21 and wish I'd started earlier. But, it's never too late either. =]

Just keep shooting, but be sure to learn from your mistakes and always strive to improve your shots. Then post your pix in your online gallery/ies. Buyers will notice. Of course don't forget to include meaningful captions, like names of places.
If still nobody's buying your pictuers after some years, then maybe you're not shooting well enough.
I'm sure others have better approach at selling and earning money out of their photographs. I'm just no businessman and don't do marketing.

You can get a lot of tips online as well as from books such as Sellphotos.com and Photo Portfolio Sucess - A Guide to Submitting and Selling Your Photographers. The latter book is by Pulitzer Prize winner John Kaplan.

i agree. just post them over on the internet. if you don't want to spend, there are a lot of free online galleries out there now. i've been fortunate enough to have sold some of my work to overseas clients through online galleries. best of luck!
