Kodak Z7590 is a good start, considering its 10x optical zoom, and the PASM mode.

Hi Alvin. I'm also a Kodak user as of now, also saving(dreaming) for a DSLR. hehehe. My Kodak is a Z650, at first, I though it is good, that time I still don't know much of camera specifications. The thing I really hate about it is that is has no image stabilization very prone to camera shake. and no manual focus, that time I still don't know that manual focus is also important.

While surfing the net about the my cam, I found some addon lens for this cam, called my brother in U.S. to buy it since I guess you will not find one here in the Phil. with the addon lenses you have added some extra features in your cam.

Btw, I've created a thread for our practice shots:

http://www.digitalphotographer.com.ph/forum/showthread.php?t=4115

Post them there (kahit walang pumapansin, hehehe).

Hello Armand, Thanks for Replying to my Post. Kodak user ka rin pla just like me.
Yeah ur right, kodak cam has no IS. i am having some issue taking some pics ng walang IS man lang. and wala tlagang mabibiling addon lens d2 sa pinas. too bad. i've seen ur sample pics, galing! great shot Armand. hehe, i'll try to post din. (kahit na nga walang pumapansin!)

Thanks!

hahaha! at least we are now 2 coming out. Calling other Kodak users.

Next thing I'm planning to buy is Raynox DCR-250 Super Macro Lens. I'm beginning to love macro with my "fly" shots.

Hey Alvin,

I used the Kodak Z7590 when I started in photography! Lemme know if you have questions and I'll gladly help you out. Check out my flickr:

Most if not all of my earlier works have been from that camera.

Guys,

Another Kodak user here and I also have a Z7590. Bought it less than 3 years ago, just when it was released. All of my pics were taken from this camera. Although I'm thinking to moving to DSLR (still saving for it) it'll be my back-up camera then.

Good to here there are some Kodak users here.

Hello alvin and all.

Im super newbie. I just bought my Kodak Z712 IS last week. Like most of you, gusto ko din sana DSLR kaso nag-iipon pa. So I bought this one first. Alam ko madami pa akong pwedeng gawin with this camera. Hope I can ask questions sa inyong mga bihasa na.
