i agree with you there.

if there's one thing that i'm glad that wedding photogrpahy has "progressed to" is the inclusion of non-posed or non-traditional shots.

i remember being put so much at ease when our wedding photographer - manny alcabao - told us to just appear natural, and let him worry about the shots.

personally, the real personality of the subjects come out best during these times, when they're not conscious about appearing like the "perfect" newly-married couple.

thank you pol! the first three images (confetti, flower girl and giggle shots) were taken with a 70-200 is. the last two were with a 75-300 non-is. i just noticed now that long lenses are essential for capturing moments as such because of your question.. haha! thanks pol! :)

all i can say is wow. i haven't seen anything like this. i love the framing the door and the hands. as well as the patterns on the floor to lead our eyes to the bride. the way you found the angle to do so is exceptional.. galeng :)

Great candids Dino! I particularly like the images of bored wedding guests. Why do they make wedding ceremonies excruciatingly long anyway?

hehe maybe they want to maximize the time they have for the ceremony...after all they paid for it.....big time...

I used 70-200/2.8. If you're shooting weddings regularly, you'll spot that immediately. It's not common for every weddings but it happens from time to time. :)

hi nestor, love the lighting! the blur created a dream-like mood for me.. the candle helped to set the mood as well! did you use diffuse glow on this one? it's nice :)
