I haven't really been looking around for shops that carry oly accessories and lenses...

but out of curiosity where do you guys go to, to buy your oly stuff? locally lang ha :-)

I have seen shops in glorietta, parksquare that sell the kits but I haven't really seen shops that sell stuff like battery grips, lenses and flashes.

It would be great to know where we can window shop for our beloved oly cams

Hi, sir. only accessory I've bought so far is the FL-50 flash from Hidalgo. as regards the others, electroworld in megamall has all the available accs. found in the brochure. it's on a per order basis and(prices available) thru axis global(i think). price is higher though, 25k+ for the FL50-21.5k in hidalgo. I didnt find any shops in quiapo selling lenses though.

If price is not in question for you, check with them. I'm still happy with the 2kit lens.:)
BTW, I got a generic spare batt for 950 @ pheonix batt store, also @ megamall.
Cheers!
Sonny

Uy ok yang battery ah... check ko yun sa megamall.

Hi! Axis Global is fully aware and appreciate the gravity of that problem now - lack of accessories and even lenses to sell to local buyers...thanks to the OlyClub, the founders made that possible. I've just made a post regarding this...kindly check the official OlyClub thread here in DPP.

Hi Sonny! Won't it cause damage to the camera if you used the generic battery? What is the lifetime of the batt? thanks!

Hi Carol!
I myself have been using a generic battery I got in ebay last November. It works fine for me. I've used and recharged it several times already and have no issues with it. It lasts as long as the originals and sometimes even longer. Only issue is no warranty.
