Hi Guys,

We are looking for 10 more volunteers to assist us this Saturday, June 4. Any one wanting to give up their Saturday for us? :)

Conditions:
1. Full day work from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm
2. Should have at least 300 posts in DPP. We want to work with people who are active in our community.
3. Pleasing personality. You cannot have a bad attitude because you'll be dealing with plenty of people.
4. Must be patient. You'll also be dealing with me. :)

I already have 5 volunteers coming from the Accenture Camera Club thanks to Adrian Rodriguez.

Winston B, if you got 10 DPP guys, spot them and I can close the thread.

Nick, I have 3 DPP:ers. Mikz Marcelo is helping contact more from the DPP clubs we frequent. I'm confident we can get more. Will keep you posted.

Mikz, if you have an update, please post here. Note, you can only attend the lectures where you are working so there's another bit of sacrifice there, but I think any lecture you can attend is good.

Though we do not question the intention of the other peeps willing to help out, but please take note of the conditions being asked above, and the reason behind it. We are glad that a lot are willing to help out, but some technicalities should be met too.

Yohan, point well taken, but remember some months ago, post points were shaven when DPP did a 'reset' of sorts. Can't remember why but I had some thousand points shaven from my post count.

Nick, in any case, can we relax the minimum posts rule? Some people I can vouch for are interested.

For those asking what this work entails, it's manning the registration, policing the lectures, maybe even gofer for Nick. I don't know if there is more compensation than the satisfaction of a job well done, but, as mentioned, the networking is good.

Guys would you be up for Lunch on Fri, Jun 10 in Makati area? If not this week then how about next? Let me know because I frequent a great place that has an excellent curry lunch buffet every Friday. Beer comes with the lunch too and its good from 12-3pm. It would be great if we can get everyone together there. No one will be disappointed. By the time you leave, you'll be quite happy trust me. I've stayed in that bar once for 11 hours, from 12 to 11pm!

Let me know soon. If not tomorrow 6/10 then the Friday after is fine 6/17.

Only one (Vahn Mendoza) of 8 (of a total of 9) volunteers has replied that he can make it tomorrow. The other 7: Dan, Jay, Kites, Mikz, Eljun, Romz and Ernie texted they cannot make it tomorrow. No word yet from Roger. Some have suggested June 20 since it is a holiday.

Several cannot not make it during lunch time, even next week, due to work.

(Don't shoot me, I'm only the messenger.)

looks like we'll have to re-schedule this. I'm going to back track each person's availability (and it would point to next Friday or Monday, June 20)

If you are coming from Rockwell, all you have to do is stay on Rockwell Drive. Rockwell Drive will turn to the right automatically. You will see Grilla on your right. Howzat is just a few buildings past that on the right side also. Hard to miss.

3 bottles of Chang... and a whole bunch of chicken barbeque! :D (though I forgot to take shots of the barbeque). I find bringing my dslr on the street at night.... unweildy. need a smaller camera for those kind of shots (less noticeable too).
