What is that white round thing like a plate that you use as diffuser? When I do macro, I just use external flash with diffuser or sometimes do it Off-Cam (with assistant holding the flash). Will try to do this one. :)

its a DIY diffuser. mine is a KFC bucket lid and some guys use styro plate

the two DIY plastic diffuser we use today was started by these two people, from what I know.....

Nido Diffuser - by Albert Tamayo a.k.a. PRODIGI
KFC diffuser - by Rundstedt Rovillos <--- because he dont buy nido, he tested diff items from ice cream lid to any flat and color white item...

Haha. Nice nice. How can I attach this DIY KFC diffuser? Now eager to try this one and see the result. I'm using Nikkor 105mm Macro and Raynox DCR250.

as the name implies, its a DIY. just cut a hole on whatever diffuser you will be using that will snuggly fit to the end of your lens + the Raynox and make sure that it won't fall :D

it will work but its a bit tiring since you have to handheld and ensure it will stay in place while you do the manual focusing (atras abante). also risky as it might trip on your hand and fall (sorry lens)

reversing the lens w/o using a ring might also let the dust on the getting into the sensor. Next time na lang. :)

you just missed the last one last week Pao :D (here (http://digitalphotographer.com.ph/forum/showthread.php?t=42058)) but I think Romyr is cooking up another one within this month as well (i guess)
