Just want to drop by and say hello to all. I just started browsing through the underwater photos here and was surprised to see that there are quite a number of underwater photo enthusiasts.

For a couple of years now I've been looking for dive buddies to do photo ops but nothing ever materialized. Time has now caught up with my hard diving in the past years and can no longer do stressful dives. I've got a pinched nerve in my c3-c4 so any stress, whether diving or not, triggers an unbelievable headache. Regardless, I love the underwater and I intend to keep shooting. I hope that through this forum I can find some dive buddies.... some day.

I started with a Sea and Sea Motor Marine IIEX. Photos at http://www.pbase.com/pocholo/dive but this is rather ancient. Unfortunately, this is also the last time I took photos underwater. I hope to get back into it very soon. Well, that's it for now.

You don't need a dive buddy, what you need is a camera. Set yourself up with a DSLR and start shooting. Underwater photography is the perfect thing for your pinched nerve. UW photographers spend alot of time just waiting around for shit to happen.
