Somebody's offering me his Fujifilm Finepix pro s2 for 14k. Only body, grip and 2gb cf is included. Is this a good buy?
I am shifting to Fuji since I like to take my photography to the higher level and this would be the perfect cam for me since I'll be using this for portrait shots.
If so I have already decided, where can I buy accessories for my cam like the lcd cover, usb cord and etc.
I am only a noob regarding to this brand. I hope you can help me.

the camera is old and slow but for that price, its justified.
the only camera that i can think of for that price is a d40/d60. they are newer, smaller, more features, faster to use. they only advantage i see with the s2 is that its a fuji and even my s3(the model after the s2) can sometimes hold its own in terms of picture quality when compared to my d200. the s3 can still produce great pics but its so slow for me.
its a good buy for that price but you if you can save up and be patient, wait and look around for a d80/d200 which will be priced in the low 20s.

IMO, get the nikon instead...
no issues with parts and batteries... as well as access to a vast array of inexpensive AF-D lenses
and you also get near unlimited xsync speeds...

yes, the nikon seems like a better offer but please do give more details about the d70s that was offered.

Sorry for speaking tagalog. :)
The D70s being offered: Good conditon. All rubber parts are still intact and camera has no scratches. Comes with original strap, front cap, charger, manual, cables and CD's that came with it. Will also include a generic remote for it. No more box.
Fuji S2: Good condition. With vertical grip. Comes with 2gb cf only.

batts for the d70s would be 1-2k at hidalgo or you can get used/generic for under 1k. same price for both packages? got for the d70s.
