In this thread, I am inviting professionals, beginners, enthusiasts and everyone who are inclined to a new height in photography. We are building a new club called LiFe. Learnings and Insights of Fellow Enthusiasts. We want to build LiFe to explore the world of different artists, from Photographers, Make up artists, Designers and Models.

The Vision of LiFe is to hone, develop, and nurture every artists to pursue their talents either for hobby or business. We have nurtured a wide connection of clients, agencies, and various groups that we want to share to our members as their resources.

We have Rainbow Studio that is privately owned and professionally managed, as a parent and a home for LiFe. This will be our nest to develop, pursue and expand our shooting skills. We believe in the power of knowledge given the right tools and equipments. Rainbow Studio will provide a backbone to LiFe by sharing its models, make up artists, clients, tools, and ideas to widen each member’s opportunities to learn and participate with various projects.

We want to ensure that we encompass our members into our journey to a successful venture by extending their experiences and knowledge. We believe in our best effort to create a positive experience in our group.

Bro, guess you weren't see us looking at you guys when you passed by right at us 'coz we're all wearing shades at that time, I even made a second look when you passed by, by the way, we were together in Tayhua while we were shopping for lights right? You could've asked us what happened, we we're even having a good time then. We're just in the studio waiting for someone to talk to us, hear our side, but, no one came, instead, everyone is throwing bad stuff about us, which really hurts

i have been involved with both parties and established friendship.. its true that we experience set backs along the way, but i think that's normal because the group was and still is very young... it just saddens me to see a lot of friction between the 2 groups after all this time...

however, i believe that the issue is not between 2 groups in its entirety, but rather the individuals that lead them.. i understand that both sides have their own story to tell... though, i strongly believe that this can be properly settled in an orderly and mature manner... not lambasting each other publicly... it will just end up like a word war... each side throwing better arguments, reasoning & disputes... trying to get sympathy and convince people to take sides... thus, it indirectly leads to a disruptive path to those whose interest is to simply learn and develop skills in taking photographs, which is also the binding element why we are here... because seriously, it's no longer pleasant or healthy for US who are just caught in the middle of this feud...

tsk tsk tsk... seems that there's still really a lot of hate brewing...
i have been involved with both parties and established friendship.. its true that we experience set backs along the way, but i think that's normal because the group was and still is very young... it just saddens me to see a lot of friction between the 2 groups after all this time...

Well said Dean,,, as I have mentioned.. this is not about the club members,,, this is about a the "Incorporators" of the nocturnals.

To tell you the truth... I wanted to handle this in a mature way... I wanted to file charges in court and settle this like men,, But guess what!? I have no money to pay for a lawyer.

I am not asking you guys to take sides... But I want everyone to know what happened with the Nocs Prod...

At the last days of Nocturnals Production,,, The heads where unable to convince clients,,, they then decided to put up a studio... they asked P50,000.00 from each incorporator to put up a studio,, But when we said we do not have the money,, they resigned and after 2 weeks they come up with RAINBOW... That's how they betrayed us...

They then took over our FACEBOOK account and re-named it Rainbow,,, soon after, they deleted it together with our Multiply Account...

I know this may be a small thing for other people but you have to understand that nocturnals is an online based company,, they deleted the contacts and portfolio that we collected. That's how they bastardized our company...

Say that I am immature and like a child,, I don't care anymore... I don't have a group anymore,, I don't have a company,, I even quit photography,,, That's how broken I am... That's how they broke me... I have nothing to loose...

Jasper is Mocking us,,, If they want to start a new "Army of Photographers" then that's fine by me... I don't care,,, But what pissed me off is that they are still using nocturnals to promote their company,, What infuriated me is Jasper's comments on the nocturnals thread.

"Let's all just move on and go with our lives"
"Water under the bridge"

HE is not in the position to say those things. They committed the crime,, We are the Victim... We say when it is over...

"Just in the studio waiting"

If they want to talk to us they must contact us and organize a meeting on a neutral ground... AGAIN... They committed the crime,, We are the Victim... They should have the initiative to talk to us,,, not us talking to them..

Let's just put it this way... They (Ismael, Jasper, Benjo) resigned from the Nocturnals Production Incorporated... Nocturnals Camera Club is a property of the Nocturnals Production... We may not be active but we are duly registered under the Securities And Exchange Commission... Jasper is promoting "LIFE" in the Nocturnals thread which is a network of the Nocturnals Production Incorporated... LIfe is a property of Rainbow Studio...

To make it short ,,,

You cannot promote a "Kapuso" program on a "Kapamilya" network... That's not how we do business...

Who ever thought of this strategy is total idiot... Any REAL businessman would know that... Sentido Comun...

Now,, If they will say that they did not resigned from the club then so be it... They are members of the Nocturnals Camera Club which is a property of the Nocturnals Production...

The Board of trustees decided to close the club,, Rainbow has no right nor power to open it up again and / or use it as a way to promote their own company...

There is a law against intellectual property rights,, but again,,, we do not have the money to pay for a lawyer...

As you can see,, the problem involves legal actions,,, But we do not have the resources to take take it to court.. So I don't blame the other incorporators who trows "Stuff" at Rainbow,, It's our only way to vent our anger...




Don't worry Dean... I'm not angry at you.. I respect your position... I'm glad that you are not taking any sides... But this problem is much deeper that you think... It involves LEGAL technicalities.

I don't speak for everybody but I think most of us would you want to settle this out.

if you do settle this out, no way that both party could leave with "hugs and kisses" after a relationship. Just leave with a better air and no more back stabbing or bad mouthing. Both or all do have a respectable names to protect.

I agree not to settle this on on Rainbow Studio, have it in neutral ground (like where it all started or outside private place) but you would need someone that we all respect and could stand in the middle not to choice who is right or wrong but to control the discussion.

guys settle it then move forward or go on your different direction. and I know you guys will always welcome those who'll join you.

This was the same thing that my Lawyer told me..

settle the argument outside of court first... If you cannot fix this then that is the time we file charges...

But I cannot pursue the case because I do not have the money...

You are Right Mau,, we can settle this but the friendship is forever tainted...

We cannot move on without Justice... atrocity has been done,,, Justice must be served for us to be able to have peace of mind...

Just imagine this,,,

I tried to turn my back on this situation... I quit photography because the stress has taken its toll on me... I want to wake up in the morning with a smile. But knowing that a crime has been committed against me and I have no power to seek for Justice gives me back pains and migraine. So I quit and kept my silence..

But I cannot control my emotions when I see Jasper's comments...

Parang Napaka Bait Nya....

I know him more than you ever do... We created the back bones of the nocturnals,, we planned the most horrific actions that you will ever hear.. We did it all together.. That's why I know who he really is...

2 years ago no one knows who Jasper Cayabyab, Benjo Licup and Ismael Alipuddin is... In the 1 year operation of the nocturnals they introduced them selves as "The HEADS" of army of photographers,, and we are introduced as the ARMY...

As we shoot,, they play,,,

We go from one bar to the other to shoot and make a name for the company...

as we do the hard labor,, they sit, drink and talk to women... They became popular because they are the HEADS and we are the ARMY,, They are known as the president, vice president and the marketing head.. great titles for the not so great leaders huh,,, we are introduced as "THE ARMY OF PHOTOGRAPHERS" (literally).

People knows who they are by their names,, but people does not know us(Nocs) by our names,, we are JUST the Army Of Photographers...

You do not know much about this Mau because you were not there. But this is what really happened.

Then with a blink of an eye,, they leave us with nothing and starts their own group... They took all of our contacts and deleted our networks... what's worst about this is that they still use the "NOCTURNALS" to elevate themselves...

THEY USED US AND LEFT US...BUT THEY CONTINUE TO USE US...

My 1000th Post

When I started working in the
Call Center Industry
my life revolved between
Work and Home.
Lots of TV & some Lotion.
Yes, I have money
But I am not happy.

Everything changed
when I met this guy who speaks spanish.
We have a common passion for photography.
And one day we decided to create a photo club for call center agents.

My life started to change
because of this group.
I started to capture life as it passes by.
I meet people and go to places I've never been.

People started joining
and the group got bigger and bigger.
Now the call center photography club becomes
the brotherhood of nOcturnals.
The group that was once snobed by others is now the biggest club in DPP.

Members come and go.
Some of them stayed
while some are inactive.
Like what they say...
you gain some...
you loose some...
But a few will stay.

I am so happy that most of the nOcturnals are still here and hope that we stay this way..

This is a short story
of our humble beginnings.
From a small group of photo walkers
to a brotherhood of photographers.
