That is if you did not do any post processing. archie simtoco 07-04-2006, 01:26 PM no post processing done but I think it is really lens flares or ghosts . I researched a little and found this site http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/80200afs.htm I think this is the problem. what do you guys think? Art Castro 07-04-2006, 05:39 PM The image on the right sir is clearly a ghost but I think the image on the left is a problem or limitation of the sensor or image processor of your camera. A ghost would generate a certain range of the color spectrum or plainly white. nino_carandang 07-05-2006, 07:57 AM no post processing done but I think it is really lens flares or ghosts . I researched a little and found this site http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/80200afs.htm I think this is the problem. what do you guys think? ghosting and the limitation of the sensor i would conclude. archie simtoco 07-07-2006, 01:49 PM ok thanks for the input guys. kengo 07-08-2006, 12:35 AM Are you using the AF-S version or the AF-D version? My AF-S do show some flares, but not similar to yours, mine doesn't outline the bright spot, but appears on a different area as the bright spot. Yours actually look like chromatic aberration. MoiRamirez 07-08-2006, 10:47 AM UFO or baka sumisilip si Lord. hehehe! baka sensor ang may diperensya! Louieescobar 07-08-2006, 10:53 PM Archie, Did you try resetting your D70 to it's default? if this didn't work, try to adjust the RGB. Another one is to update your firmware. Last is to use a UV polarizer on your lens when shooting a direct light. Louie Escobar archie simtoco 07-10-2006, 05:57 PM KENGO: It is the afd version. Louie: I do not have a polarizing filter although I used a uv filter. It is the afd version. Thanks for the replies I will try to follow your advice horace_posadas 07-15-2006, 06:50 AM Looks like it's just blown out highlights combined with a bad case of flare. Do you have a lens hood attached? That can help reduce flaring, but not when shooting into the light like that. |
