Guys, may i know the final feed back of these two lenses?
Which is better? As far as i read the long threads of these two lenses, it can't be compared with Nikkor or Canon lens with same capability because absolutely they are better that's why the price is so expensive.

But generally speaking of these two lenses, since i am planning to get any of this can the owner of any of these lenses share a recommendation if any of these is worthed to buy? And which is better among them?

Thanks a lot for your short and simple experiences sharing :D

if you will use it in a cropped body, better get the 17-50
on the other hand, nothing beats a 24-70 FL in a FF body

Full frame sensor is 35mm
anything that is cropped from that is what they called cropped body
crop factor of x1.5 on nikon / x1.6 & x1.3 on canon
your d90 is a part of the crop body sensor
there are so many variations kindly google it for more info:)

I'm using 24-70 on d90 it works well for me. my only complaint is that it's really heavy at 700 g. sometimes 24mm wide is a bit lacking for me. if you plan on upgrading to Full frame in the future. i suggest stick with 24-70

17-50mm 2.8 costs around 29K while 24-70 costs around 40K. This is just an estimate as prices do vary in some stores
