i also have the same problem (dunno if it is the same). i reformatted my pc and installed ps2 and bridge. downloaded the camera raw 3.6. when i open my bridge, the cr2 raw file cannot be previewed. when i check the file info, there is no data on the camera data 1. under advanced, only xmp core properties are available. i can see that there is camera raw.8bi under common files/plugins of adobe. my other computer can preview bridge and see the file info and even only have 3.2 of the adobe camera raw. any suggestion?

can you specify the path in which you installed camera raw?

normally, it should be Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS2/File Formats

my problem with adobe raw now is that i can't see the directory. or when i use photoshop and go browse, no folder comes out. help!

i have lightroom installed and after running it and running bridge again. it can now preview and the file info is visible. thanks again.

try to dump the cache.
Sometimes, the cache already have a set of "blank" previews already saved, you need to force it to make new previews.

In CS2, & CS3, go to Tools, Caches, purge cache
