Hi everyone! maybe you guys can help me out... I am currently using a canon DSLR with a canon 580ex. I'm going to be shooting some layouts in a factory sometime august and the studio lights are just gonna be too big to use. my only option is to use speedlights, but then they are too pricey for me. So, i was thinking if Sigma flashes work well with a canon transmitter?(the 580ex) any thoughts?? oh and one more thing know any good flash brackets that are reasonably priced? thanks again guys!

Yup, I've tried using Canon 550EX triggering a Sigma EF500 DG and it works even on TTL. I'm sure your 580EX will have no problem. Likewise, I've also tried having the 550EX as slave and the Sigma EF 500DG Super as the master and I have no problem as well. It works well with TTL, just make sure the infra red path has no obstructions. Tried the setup with at least 5 meters apart indoors and it works well.

Never tried using three light set-up though.
