A new update to the Photogene app for iPad have just elevated it as the best photo editing app on the platform right now. Just tried it recently and the similarities with adjustments with Lightroom is astounding. And its also non-destructive. Its amazing how much power it has gained but just on an app 2MB big! I am blown away by how much you can do with it. The controls are so refined.

There are options for the usual adjustments, including curves and sharpening.

Its amazing what this little app can do at such a small size and meager iPad hardware specs. Imagine what an actual adobe lightroom and photoshop app even at several hundred mb could be capable of if only they take the time to develop for the iOS platform. The mobility of the iPad would surely be of great use to photographer doing quick onsite edits such as weddings.
