Hi Guys,
I'm new to Digital Printing.
I just want to get an insight about Canon's A3 Printers.
Best deal that I've seen so far are these two and I was wondering which of which gives that bang for the buck.
I hope you guys can help me out.
TIA.

I don't think that the iP100 can print up to A3+ like the ix4000.
The iP100 is only an A4 printer.

i had an ix4000 that served me well for a long time. my only complaint is the reddish cast of grey out of the box. have the printer profiled for the paper you're using and you'll be fine for draft work.

I din't notice that until now. Thanks for correcting.
Well, I've read the from another post about iP4780 and its making me think whether to get iX4000 or that iP4780. iP100 is just portable which is not really my thing, so I'd rather save the extra bucks for something else.
The thing is, I want this printer to give me good enough results for printing Hi-res photographs.
I'll be reading more posts about iP4780 if its print quality produced can match that of iX4000.
Thanks for the advise.

I think that you want the Canon Pixma iP4870 :D
The iP4870 can only print up to A4. The ix4000 can print up to A3+.
But the iP4870 is cheaper and produces prints of better quality compared to the iX4000 :D
I've tested and created custom color profiles for both printers :D
Cheers!
