Hi!

My friend lost my 430EX's bounce card.

Seems that Canon doesn't sell replacements for that [I called several stores].

Do you guys know what material I can use that's thin enough to insert into the flash [I don't want to use the cardboard + rubber band option because it's well, panget], sturdy and replacable just in case the card gets lost again by the same friend?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Sunday? I was there with him. I saw your flickr pics and I saw some people from your pics loitering around the grounds before [or after] the children's party.

See, the calling card option should work but then it'll get ratty very quickly. Huhuhu.

let that friend buy you another 430EX,, tell your friend that he/she can have your old flash,, i think there would be no good substitute with the bounce card canon provided,,

Hi Ria, I know that only the 580EX for canon has the built-in bounce card. I think you are referring to the wide angle diffuser which is needed when you take wide angle shots so that the flash can cover the area when using a wide angle lens.

Tell your friend to get a lightsphere or omnibounce or check out this link:

Hi Ditoy,
My 430EX came with a plastic bounce card that you can insert into the flash body. It's the same material with the 580ex except with the 580ex the card pulls out from the body.
I have an omnibounce na but some cases I'd really rather use a bounce card.

Hi Ria, you can use a calling card plastic just like those you use in the MRT, just cut it to proper size. You can buy it sa mga stalls in SM..... or you can get the plastic folder from National bookstore. Those 2 can fit in the slit of your flash body.

@Ria

Sell your 430EX... ask your friend to pay for the difference to get a new one. Like Tammy, I'm serious.

For me, chong if your friend is not a smoldering hot rocks for buns triathelete then ask your friend to get a new one ;p

What kind of stalls kaya do I look for? The ones that sell bag tags? It could be kinda too thick. But for the plastic folder, I'll try that.
