I bought my Lumix GF1 with this lens around the 1st week of May. I was happy with my camera until recently I felt that there was something stuck inside (a very, very small rock or dirt or something that makes it rough) the rotating ring of the lens (Any proper term for that part?). I only feel it when I use the Manual Focus and rotate the ring for focusing. It's not always like that when I try to rotate it though. Performance is still very excellent though I am really worried that the thing inside might scratch something and break my lens (and my heart).

I wanted to go back to the store where I bought it (somewhere in Hidalgo, I forgot the store name, I'll check the receipt later) and get a check-up of my camera... Or bring it directly to a Panasonic center (Is it okay to have a check-up there even if I bought it at Hidalgo?) for check-up also...

I believe they have a store warranty, check with the store first. Let your fingers do the walking? Good luck!
