Prayers For Pauline

Pardon me Moderators for posting this thread of my newly born baby girl Pauline, she was born last Friday on the 12th day of January 2007 at 12:02 PM, born premature (7 Months) with a Weight of 1510 grams and Length of 42 cm. She is still under observation in an incubator with a life support system attached to her as of the moment at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a well-known hospital in Pasig City. I ask and solicit for your prayer's because my baby needs it a lot, the Pediatrician said she may stay for 1 - 1 and 1/2 a month in the incubator.

we will pray for baby Pauline! to encourage you, my friend's first born was also born pre-mature 7mos also spent more than a mo. in an incubator but now he's healthy and normal, so hang in there.

Thanks a lot guys! and I’ll pray too that may God's blessings come in seven folds for you and your family. I always believe in Him, this is the 5th one in a span of a year that my faith had been tested though I became more stronger and will always do things for His glory and honor.

I can also share a same story. A friend of my wife also gave birth to a pre-mature 7 months old baby boy. When we went home to Pinas for vacation and met the couple for a dinner in Greenbelt, they showed us their son's photos when he was still in the hospital after birth. The baby was really skinny and very small, nakakaawa. But then when they showed us their sons recent photos, he was really very healthy and chubby now. After seeing the boy in person I couldn't believe that he is the same premature baby we saw in his earlier photos. He is now full of life and very active.
I do hope & pray that soon the photos you will show us of your baby will be a very healthy child too.

Dont worry Sau... Just have faith in "HIM". As to my experience. ur daughter has a very good chance. (I should know..its my field). You should also know that our doctors and nurses are one of the best in the world. Just hang on!!!:)

I am very thankful for your prayers and moral support as well.
As of the moment Pauline is still at the NICU of the hospital. Still under incubation but without anymore the aid of the respirator. Now she fed 15ml of breast milk + Formulated milk every 2.5 hours, 5ml of those she can suck through the feeding bottle and the rest is by a cylinder connected to a tube hose towards her stomach. She gains an average of 10g everyday and hopefully would increase whenever she feeds more in the coming days.
Once again I thank you guys for the prayers and hope you won't get tired of including her in your prayers.

We pray for her continuous positive response to the treatment given by the medical team.

Thanks for all of your prayers and encouragement.

Pauline is now at our home and growing strong. Although weekly we went to the hospital for her follow-up checkups and vaccinations, we also frequent the hospital for her eyes checkups, her doctor said that due to her premature case she has an ROP (Retinopathy Of Prematurity) stage1 and should be weekly monitored.


Pauline on her 1st Month, I was not allowed to get inside the Minor Procedure Room so I just took the shot from the outside through the door's window of her room.

Only mother is allowed to go inside the Minor Procedure Room so I set the camera on auto and my wife took Pauline's close-up picture inside the room

Pauline is then transferred to the High Risk Room for her blood transfusion because her Hemoglobin is below the normal level. There both parents are allowed to get in, so I don’t know if this is a bad news because of the transfusion thing but then I get the chance to be with her and fortunately I get the chance to take her pictures. The pictures were taken on her 2nd Month at the NICU of the hospital.

Thank God she's home. I will keep praying for her full recovery.

I told you she will get over this!!! She will grow up strong and fine. Keep her pictures and show it to her when she is grown up... so she will know how she was and what she has been through... Good Luck to you.

Pauline stayed for two Months and a week at the NICU and I did not miss a single day without visually checking out her status. All of our endeavors had paid off. Thanks for all the support and specially your prayers
