nice set luis,, any advice when covering this fiesta? was planning to go there but backed out the last minute bcoz of the trafic :(

Thanks for commenting on my images. Ijust posted afew but I have more on film still insidemy rf
Well for one...you should got there really early. To evade the impending traffic and more importantly to get those warm and sharp highlights and long shadows. If you're covering for a newspaper or magazine, make sure to get those cliche shots that the editors will be looking for (ie: standard crowd shots with the Black Nazarene) and then prowl the streets and the dark corners. You'll get a lot of surreal characters there. Shoot to your hearts desires and not for the others.
I find it more satisfying to shoot more wides and get close to your sublects without being too intrusive.Engage your subjects,so thatthey won't feel robbedwhen you walk away with their souls inside your small black box.Hehehe

Hahaha, Heck No..:Angry: but seriously, ask him how he became a photographer.
I used to work as photog at Bulletin too and he was then working in the production department.We are neighbors....ang daming excuses no?

ah alam ko na!batch kasi kayo ni Bullet Marquez..ikaw ang unang sumikat na Liwanag hehehehehe!!i like your passion..maskin gayon nan diyan parin...work in MB 2001 to 2003 chief photog sa Cebu ..ako lang mag isa wala akung tao hehehehe!

what lenses did you use with you M6? also... what film did you use and where did you have your photos scanned...
i love the victoria court shot and the last shot with the kid.
