Question lang po.
If you were to recommend a non-oly flash for the E-500 what would it be?
I'm thinking of getting a flash but the FL-50 is still way over budget for me and I'm thinking of an alternative to the FL-36. Thanks!

I saw a magazine pic/topic of a pro fotog with Sunpak 383/E500 combo. didnt say how good that mix was though.
I got the FL50 a few days back, tested both 36 and 50 on the camera. flash recharge on the FL50 is instantaneous! the FL36 OTOH is pretty inconsistent, from 5-10secs. FL50 is pretty heavy though.
I'd say save up for the FL50, it's gonna be worth every peso bro!

@Charlie - i suggest that you save up for the FL50...if you dont need a flash anytime soon then save first.....i got mine few months back but I only used it for like 4 times, so no need to rush things if you will ask me.
@Bert- got the E1 as service unit? :)

Hi guys!
Thanks for all the help! After several days in Singapore contempating what to buy and arguing to myself what flash I would get. I finally settled with an fl-36 (because of budget).:)
Tried it out in Bohol last week and I'm happy with the recycle rates despite many posts regarding the slow recycle (I guess it's really a case to case thing). I guess the 2700mAH rechargeables I used helped too. Thanks again!
